==> Enter the Medium
LAND OF ASH AND MONSTERS.
Gray and black seems to be the only colour that your land has. Upon closer inspection you'll find this gray substance to be indeed ash. The very air holds little moisture in it, being dry and hot. If you were to explore the area you'll find occasional rocks here and there as well as many holes. Try not to look down, you'll find yourself staring back at slitted eyes staring back. Do what the locals do, blend. Your consorts are the CHAMELEON. Once upon a time their land full of rainbow colours that made changing their colour so much fun! Now only the ash from the large volcano can be seen for miles. They ask with plea that you help them return their beautiful rainbow planet back to it's original state. So challenge the YALDABAOTH for reign of the volcano. Apparently he's a cry baby that enjoys throwing tantrums. Venture to the volcano and hush the cry baby. Beware of the less then hospital natives. They like eating flesh.

==> Tory: Freak out.
There's no time for that. Calm down you. Her house exploded from a meteor AND from a tsunami. But not really. It's fine. The house is fine, and she's fine. That's good. Calm down. She needs you right now. STOP FIDGETING WITH THOSE RUBBERBAND STARS AND REPLY HER ALREADY. Tory can't help it, what just happened came in such a rush, there was a meteor AND a tsunami. And then there was the thing that came out of the cruxtruder. Tory barely had time to react before both meteor and tsunami came crashing down at once. But it's okay now, Mila's in the medium. But it doesn't look like she's out of danger yet. Your pesterchum icon is blinking. Better answer her and get this going. ==> Reply to friend and try calming her down[style=width: 450px; padding: 10 25; background: #ffffff; border: 1px dashed black; font-size: 11px; font-family: courier new; font-weight: bold; color:teal; text-align: left;] MP: thank goodness you turned out alright from that... MP: anyway..we're definitely not out of trouble yet...uh..at least you're not MP: but don't worry! MP: nothing's going to happen to you okay..? I promise, don't worry MP: um...you should go back to your room and stay there for now...I'll uh, check things out below.. MP: maybe you should go equip yourself with your strife specibus or something.. MP: I'll tell you what I find downstairs alright? --misguidedPreserver [MP] became an idle chum--

==> Get up. Light breaks through half closed lids, penetrating the pupils hiding behind. A stinging blindness, more violent and painful than you have ever experienced, runs through your skull as you lie on the ground, clutching your side out of instinct and nothing else. You raise your hand in front of your face and red fills your weakened vision. You, reflexively, pull your hand to your eyes, smearing them with your own blood. Realization of what you did hits soon after and you almost wretch as you try to wipe the sticky liquid off your face with your other sleeve. You curse, as per usual, and turn over, reaching out to smack the lamp that has been shining in your eyes. A crash and it's out; back to the solace of darkness.
You relish in the calm oasis of dark that lets you see again. You must have been out for a while for your eyes to react like that. You swear again and check your wound, but feel no pain. You grope about the area but came to a quick realization that the blood on your side isn't his own. It's far to thick and sticky to be any humans. Then... It wasn't-- Fluffy's... Was it?? You scan the room, but to no avail. You think on the fact that the blood was not yours and quickly come to the conclusion that you just rubbed somebody else's blood into your eyes. At this point, your stomach isn't doing so well.
You let out a small cough which announces just how dry your throat is. Usually the air is humid as hell; you could practically drink it. But now it's so... dry. You make your way to the kitchen and open the fridge, happily taking a swig from the milk you find on the inside door. You place the carton back inside and shut it, almost. You stop just as the reflective material the door was made of shows what stands behind you. It's someone... something-- you can't tell. Slowly, you turn to face the creature. It is some sort of... Black... Greyish... Thing. Almost like a little person, but with garish and unearthly features. It lunges and you reach out quickly for something to defend yourself with. An umbrella meets your grasp and the strife begins.

==> Get stuff in order. Tory told you to stay here and that's what you'll do. You sit down on your bed and take slow deep breaths while counting to ten. Maybe things will turn out alright!Suddenly you here more noises coming from downstairs, frighting noises that sound like deep grunts and panting. You stumble over to the window a bit lightheaded and look outside, all you see for miles is ash...oh? It appears there are small black wolf like imp humanoids roaming about the land and entering your house. They are probably the ones causing all the ruckus, you figure it best to leave them alone from any contact do to the high possibility of hostility.
You head over to the computer and glare at your monitor, perhaps someones online? Ah yes success! It appears your team leader Lola is online, oh? It appears word of mouth has spread fast and she knows your in the game and is pestering you for a status report. You open the PESTERCHAT and continue to chat until the report has been wrapped up. While your online you figure it might be best to start up a MEMO with your fellow players letting them know your in the game. Shortly after it appears Rhea has begun to reply to the memo, you swear that girl can be quite the handful at times, but at least she cares. After vowing to help she becomes idle, help... hm. Then it strikes you that if you get Rhea in the game will be a lot easier with two players
GET RHEA IN
Now that Rhea's in you let out a brief sigh, you are no longer alone. You decide to lay down and fall asleep.

==> Check status of the house
You shifted from Mila's room out into the hallway. Everything seems to be intact, for the most part. A few things like lamps and such were toppled over but other than that, everything seems to be fine. Electricity and internet connection still seem to be up and running too in this strange world seeing as how you're still connected to Mila through pesterchum. The house is still pretty dark though, and there may not be any sound but you're getting really jumpy from the things that are moving around in the dark. You can see tiny, glinting eyes darting about outside the window. They haven't gotten in yet, but better safe than sorry, you shifted a bookshelf over the window to block anything from getting in. Or at least, from that window. You're going to have to find more things to barricade the house with so whatever those things are doesn't get in. ==>
You eventually got yourself to where you think it might be the kitchen, since there's a refrigerator. And also what looks like a man strifing with the dog-imp things. That must be Mila's brother! You pondered on whether you should intervene or not, it didn't take long for you to come to a conclusion. You shifted your cursor over the largest object in the kitchen, which would be the refridgerator, and dropped it over the dog-imps. They exploded into various blue hexagonal block things as the refrigerator come into contact with the imps. You picked up the hexagonal things which went directly to the amount of build grist you have in your phernelia registry and quickly informed Mila about your discoveries. MP: Mila! MP: i uh, found your Brother! : ) MP: he's alright i think MP: i found him fighting against those dog-imp monster things in the kitchen MP: i dropped the refrigerator on them MP: not on your brother i mean! on the dog-imps things >< MP: i don't think you should be going out of your room just yet though MP: some of the imps have already made their way into the house MP: um, you might want to block your window so none can come in through your room

==> Search for Mila You're about to take out a mass of imps like the cool guy you are but are caught off guard by a... refrigerator? The fridge! You jump back as it comes crashing down on the imps that stood before you previously. More of those fruit gushers pop out but you find them unappealing at the moment. First off, your heart's in your throat and your stomach somewhere unbeknownst to you, at least that's how it feels after your near death experience, and you're pretty worried for Mila. Sure these imps aren't all that hard to tangle with, but you don't know if Mila could say the same.
You step out of the kitchen, moving aside the fridge and into darkness. The blackness was almost palpable now. How long had you been strifing in the kitchen? You call out into the darkness for your sister and fifty odd eyes meet yours. You gulp.
==> Strife!
This was not the time for this umbrella. Sure, they were great and they'd done you well, but they weren't your specialty. You step back a bit and hit the light switch on the wall behind you. Brightness floods the den and you greet your foes. Looks like about a hundred of those stupid dog things. The window they seemed to have come in from was covered by a bookshelf and you thank the world for that. You don't question it but immediately whip out your trusty deck of steel cards. Without giving the imps a chance to respond you toss one card, the Two of Hearts. The card shoots out of your hand and lodges into the skull of the closest imp. The creature steps forward as though it plans to assault but falls forward anti-climatically. Your eyes, and all the other imps', follow the body as it falls. Realization seeps in as you look back up at the others. Another imp steps forward but a card meets his forward just as quickly as he had decided to avenge his brother. You blink, never having used these things on living beings before. The other imps quickly come to their senses and a good half of them back off.
==> Clean up.
The half that doesn't fall back falls quickly in line behind the two first imps to die. You are quite shocked. It is as though you have some new found gift with these things. Like you are assured to survive this. As though the game had made it this way. You think on that and quickly shake off the silly, and rather depressing, thought. You move forward, imps consequently moving further against the walls, and pick the cards up where the imps bodies had turned to fruit gushers. You look up at the imps, whose numbers were now more than halved, and shoot them a glare. They skedaddle and you begin to pick up the mess they made in their wake.

==> Do as Tory says. Fine, I mean there’s not much you can really do against Tory, if you want to live that is. You take action on one of his earlier notions you managed to overlook and equip your boring old UMBRELLAKIND, at least its strong enough to stay working in a semi heavy fight. You take a look around and approach the Window, it appears those little assholes have already managed to find there way into your house apparently through the front door. Just great. You take a deep breath and move over to your bed, then slowly you push it in front of your Window in hopes it will keep them stalled for a bit trying to enter your room.
==> Pester your Rhea.
(CURRENT POST IN THREAD #2) [/blockquote] ==> Get interrupted by FLUFFYSPRITE. Suddenly into your Room bursts your former KERNALSPRITE, who now appears to be an Ordinary sprite, interesting it appears to have take then likeness of Fluffy confirming your earlier suspicions that the sprites affect the land in their pre-entry prototype. You can recall reading somewhere about an Teir Two Prototyping, maybe a POST ENTRY prototype will affect the imps as well? You then head over to your bed and pick up your favorite stuffed animal a small Dragon, you then head over to Fluffy sprite and toss it in. Suddenly your room is engulfed in a bombardment of bright light, and in place of the old sprite is a new and improved FLUFFYSPRITE.
==> Have first Interaction with Sprite. About to speak with your sprite with the first time! Though suddenly your busy being Tory.

==> Check on Mila.
You're pretty sure Mila's brother is able to hold his own for now. You definitely didn't mean to just sit and watch while he fought off the dog imps with steel playing cards though, which you must admit, was pretty cool. Anyway, you zoomed out of the den's view and bring Mila's room back into view, right after blocking the front door and windows with furnitures. It'd prevent anything else from getting in, or out for that matter. But you'll make an entrance when Mila's ready. Now it's just a matter of dealing with the ones that are already inside the house. ==> You eventually brought Mila's room back into view and saw that she finally equiped her strife specibus. An old umbrellakind, doesn't seem too bad. And she also blocked off the window of her room. The next thing that caughtyour eye was the flashy ball of light that before this, slightly resembled a dog but now it looks like a dragon-dog-ish hybrid. It looks like it's telling Mila something, you can't quite tell since no sound actually gets through the game. It's like a surveillance camera sort of thing you guess. Anyway, you decide to leave Mila a message on pesterchum before seeing what else you can do about the dog imps that are still in the house.
MP: hey, I uh, barricaded most of the entrances MP: so no more could get in MP: but the thing is, uh, you can't get out either, currently >< MP: i'll make an entrance later MP: you just got to deal with the ones that are inside your house now! >< MP: i'll see what else i can do for now
==> Well, there's nothing much you could do now, besides dropping more furniture on the dog imps and collect more build grist, which would be the blue fruit gushers look-alike. Which has been steadily decreasing as you shifted furniture to block of entrances to the house. You checked your phernilia registry and came across one last machine that you've forgotten to put down. The Punch Designix But this one costs SHALE grists to deploy, Shale which you did not have before entering this world. Or before Mila entered this world.
==> Deploy Punch Designix
You deployed it at the end of the attic where the window is located. You're not sure whether the imps would be able to get through to such a high level of the house but better safe than sorry.
==> Inform Mila MP: there's one more machine i placed down MP: it's up in the attic, you might want to check it out MP: there aren't any imps up there but you might want to be careful on your way up ><

==> Examine Fluffysprite
The odd floating creature looms above you floating about staring at you. It seems to give off a TAN aura, one that feels heated like a nice fireplace on a cold winters night. It is most likely do to the combination of a kind dog, with the heat of the Dragon, creating an exterior hybrid feeling about the sprite. Though that wasn't the only thing hybrid about the sprite, FLUFFYSPRITE was a half dog half dragon being that seemed to flutter through the air, like an ancient wind riding Dragon, often used in Chinese mythology and ancient lore. You have always had an interest in lore and myths so when you discovered the small plushie in a convinent mart by your house, you figured, why not? After all living in Miami made every bit of product on even simply grocery store shelves became Tourist items, and memorabilia. That was beside the point though, after all you needed to figure out what the fuck was happening to you, and obivoulsy the creators of this game must have purposely programmed the sprites into a system for a higher purpose of importance. As you stare into the mystifying creatures eyes you suddenly snap out of your thoughts and back down into reality, time to question this ting.
==> Say Hello [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background:Black ; border: 1px dashed Pink, bTable] MILA: Why hello there! MILA: I'd assume your Fluffy! MILA: Do you still have your memories as when you were a dog? MILA: Or do you have some new higher intellectual capability far exceeding what any mere human can comprehend? FLUFFYSPRITE: Well howdy misssy! How are you on this mighty fine day? Woof! :^) FLUFFYSPRITE: And yes i do still have my memory of my wee ol puppy dog days! FLUFFYSPRITE: Though id make a guess at the fact your looking for a bit more information! FLUFFYSPRITE: Well you see heres, the basic gist of everything... :^)

==> Get rid of as much imps as you canWell, that's really all you can do for now. Though it'd be a better idea if you just keep the imps from entering Mila's room. She seemed to be having quite a serious chat with the dog/dragon sprite thing. You can only wonder what they're talking about as you idly, well, more like you flailed your mouse around before picking up a nearby vase and periodically dropping on top of an imp whose strayed from the group. You sure hope it's not a very big group. You sure hope Mila gets her talk over and done with soon. MP: hey...um.. MP: hope i'm not interupting anything important but uh.. MP: mila? MP you miiight want to get a move on >< MP: there's only so much furniture i can move and use to destroy these things before i run out of build grist ><
==> And just as you said that, your build grist bar indicator thing drops down to zero as you picked up a small coffee table and rained it down on a couple more imps. Welp, there goes your role in helping out. MP: best wrap up the conversation and leave it for another MP maybe uh...safer time? MP: just a heads up >< MP: there are imps, right outside your door MP: and also glass, to the right of your hallway MP: you're gonna have to be..um..careful with that too
