AP: wonderful! my name is Jett, I'm Renn's uncle. Renn is a friend of your brother, from what I've seen. AP: I was just curious, did you know that they were going to be playing a game together? Something called "Sburb"?

AP: Jeny, a lovely name. Pleasure to meet you, even if it's over the Internet. AP: And that's the precise reason I contacted you. I've heard chatter about this between my nephew and his friends, but I don't have the slightest clue what it's about. They seem pretty intense about it, though. AP: I was wondering if you or your younger brother might have more information about this. Renn doesn't like to include me in his day-to-day activities, unfortunately. I just want to make sure he stays out of trouble, you know?

You’re going to make me blush. (/ω\) AS: Really? It must be a good game, well actually looking over the memo, you are right they are determined. AS: Sadly, I wish I knew more but sadly my jobs keep me busy from learning anymore. ( ̄へ ̄) AS: I’m pretty sure Wong has/will keep Renn out of trouble. I’ve raised him to be a gentleman. (-o⌒)

AP: Ah, my apologies. I didn't mean to. :) AP: There's a memo? I was unaware of that. I hate to admit it, but I've been going through some of Renn's pesterlogs while he's been at school. He must have hidden some of them from pubic desktop access. He's clever, that he is. AP: But I'm not so worried about the game as I am about our kids. Some of these messages make it look like they're putting themselves in serious danger. AP: I know children these days are into war games and extreme sports, but I'm not abiding anything that will put their health at risk. I'm assuming that you agree with me on that matter, since it doesn't matter how much of a gentleman Wong is if he's in the hospital. Same for Renn. AP: I'm probably coming off as overbearing. I'm sorry about that. AP: .... AP: You said that your job doesn't afford you many chances for education. Where do you work?

AS: I really don’t blame you! Not at all. ヘ(>_<ヘ) AS: I would hate to see any of the children in any physical danger. So, don’t worry about being over bearing, I believe it’s a part of the job of taking care of someone of kin. (。-`ω´-) AS: Ha, yeah, I do cleaning for people. It pays well enough to support both myself and my brother. Other than that I also take up other odd jobs if I get desperate.

AP: Do you think you could provide me a link to this memo, or perhaps a transcript? I'd really appreciate it, Jeny. AP: You've addressed them on this already? Well, you beat me to the curve, ha. As long as they know not to get themselves in danger, I'm good. AP: Yes, it's hard being a caretaker. I don't care what Oprah or anybody says, childcare can be such a hassle sometimes. Just last week Renn popped me in the back with a firecracker from a slingshot. AP: And you say that you clean... professionally? Are you a maid of sorts?

AS: I highly doubt it’s that dangerous. 八(^□^;; AS: Right? (/_\) AS: Wow, he has a wild streak? Or is he just going through a rebellious stage? (゜◇゜) AS: Oh no, at least I don’t think so. I just go around because of word of mouth. AS: Many like to say I’m a professional, which is why I get a lot of jobs. (^_^

AP: Perfect. Thank you so much. AP: And yes, it seems like he's become a little spitfire as of late. Perhaps it's because he's never really interacted with anyone but me and his private teachers. We move around quite a bit, so he's home schooled. AP: I tried to see if enrolling him in public school would help bolster his attitude, but he just seems more dejected than ever. We can't go a day without fighting. AP: Do you ever feel like you're a bad parent, Jeny? AP: I know we're not actual parents, but still. I get the impression Renn hates me sometimes.

One watcher to another~ (⌒▽⌒)☆ AS: Hm, moving around can wear a person down after a while. But public school should be good, he just needs to get use to is and find a group of buddies. AS: But I will admit, I do feel like I’m a bad parent, it’s like I’m missing out a lot in his life. And to tell the truth I don’t know how he feels about this relationship atm. (ーー

AP: I think we share sentiments on this issue. But you've got the grace of having only a few years of separation between you and Wong. You share a similarity. AP: I'm almost forty. I have nothing in common with my nephew, and I can't try and be "hip" to get close to him. AP: I've nearly given up hope. If it keeps going like this...I don't know. I guess I'll hire someone like you to keep him company during the day. AP: Work anywhere near Dallas? AP: Haha.

AP: "Go with the flow." AP: Hard, when you're working against the current. But I guess so. AP: Maybe I should take Renn out for dinner. Or an amusment park, or something. Just take his mind off this whole Sburb thing altogether. AP: And that's unfortunate. Guess that rules out a cup of coffee with you, ha. AP: I'm gonna follow up on that idea, and go see where my nephew has wandered off to now. It's been a pleasure talking to you, Jeny, and I do hope you will keep me informed of anything you hear concerning this game. AP: I'll do the same for you.
