==> RUBY: Chop chop
And that’s happening. Not too long after you got into the Land of Sand and Circuitry, you did your last fusion that is now standing. Uh, floating right next to you, you face is red because it’s the person you always wished to meet in real life, who is now your guide within the game: Chris Martin. Of course, the only thing that seems off is his color and the fact that it seems like a godfather clock dominate his chest, but then again you couldn’t ask for a better day. It was a good idea to prototype the post of him.
Now, it was these little imps that got on your nerves, they separated you from getting out of this house to find your cousin. Hale was right, something you don’t take lightly is your loses but then again Juni did have enough time to think, right?
CHRISTIMESPRITE: I believe it’s time that you should CHRISTIMESPRITE: I don’t know calm down. CHRISTIMESPRITE: If you ever feel neglected, if you think all is lost, I'll be counting up my demons, yeah, hoping everything's not lost. RUBY: 73ll m3 70 c4lm d0wn 0n3 m0r3v 71m3 RUBY: bu7 y0ur s1n91n9 v01c3 1s v3ry b34u71ful CHRISTIMESPRITE: Uh, thanks. I guess. These lyrics seem to come out on random from time to time. CHRISTIMESPRITE: So, we’re searching for your guardian now, huh? CHRISTIMESPRITE: You shouldn’t be worrying about that. CHRISTIMESPRITE: You should be finding your consorts and working with them to battle your denizen. ==> RUBY: Continue the battle!
You look up at ChrisTimeSprite and narrow your eyes. He has to know you feel bad about what you’ve done to your cousin. Then again he is made up of codes and stuff. Suddenly you feel the tug at your dress it brings you down to the small imp’s level, he sniggers at you suddenly another pops up and smacks you in the face with a clock. Oh, that frustrated you. You bring out your cleaverkind and swung at both of them before hiding in the closet, proceeding to this conversation.
==>
You look at the sprite that just floated there staring down at you, waiting for a response to whether or not you would go out and help your consorts. In reality you knew you had no choice and it infuriated you that he was right and you were wrong. But maybe, just maybe, you and Juni would be meeting up between then. Not like you can get too lost out in this desert right?
SP: … RUBY: l37 m3 4lch3m1z3 4 n3w w34p0n. CHRISTIMESPRITE: Yes, that would be appropriate for this environment, Miss. Brooks. ==> RUBY: Alchemize
You take out your strife secubius card and another one from your lyricsmodus combining them together along with building grist you’ve retrieved from your mini strifes to create:
Cold Cut Cleaver.
You smile and snuggle the new weapon you have. Feeling the chill of the weapon against your skin and the insert disk area, you feel so ready for a new battle.
CHRISTIMESPRITE: You’re always going to be playing our music? RUBY: … RUBY: y0u c4n b37 y0ur sw337 700sh 1 w1ll RUBY: 17ll str1ck f34r 1n70 7h3 3n3m13s h34rts RUBY: >:] ==> RUBY: Move on out
Do you really need to hurry? Of course, not like the moment your Sprite came into being and you told him the situation that you knew your cousin was in trouble! You step out and face up to the sun, using your hand to shade your eyes and then you look out at the long desert.
This was going to be a long day, you thought as you started to trek with ChrisTimeSprite nearby, also keeping an eye out for villages opposite of your own mission. You hold close the Cold Cut Cleaver, feeling the chill which was nice to the opposing heat of the desert reflecting the sun. The first thing you’ll need to do when you meet up with Juni is get mad that he even left the house in the first place

==> JUNI: Wake up
Where the hell are you? You have no clue, all you know is your moving, though more on that later. You try to recall the past events of what has transpired that very day. Last you remember you were in your house trying to convince her to tell you what was going on next thing you know a boom and then you were out. Now back to the matter of your present location, you scan the area sandy and hot. Though how on earth did you get here? What did Ruby do? And who just touched your butt? You look down and notice your not lying on the soft sand you once thought yourself to be on, it appears a small heard of imps seem to be carrying you off far into this new land.
Or at least you think they are imps you aren't really sure what the heck they are. They appear to be a strange mutation of a Dog, a plant, and a clock. Truly an odd site to behold and you would take sometime to discover it's origin and history if every step they took didn't take you one step away from Ruby.
==> JUNI: Young Adult Roll
You leap from the tiny hands of the imps, and land on the soft sand. It's warm and seeps through your toes, it's a typical thing for you not to wear shoes around you house and as far as you knew today (or at least you thought it was still today who knows how long you had been out) wasn't meant to be a day your house is transported into a strange new land with oddly deformed creatures.
==> JUNI: Strife!!
You whip out your staffkind and take out the imps quite quickly, some weird things that look like grist emerge from where they stood, but you don't pay them much attention.
==> JUNI: Abscond
You gaze the scene and notice your house on the edge of the horizon, they go far, surely a couple of miles. Though not so far as to keep you away from Ruby, you head off in a sprint towards the house making sure to scan the area in case Ruby were to have left the house in search of you. Though one detail keeps popping up in your head, where were they taking you? Something like this was obviously of some importance. Though you brush the puzzling aside and just try to focus your breathing. Sprinting a couple miles is harder than you thought, and the heat doesn't help. You'll have to continue on with a brisk run for now, you just hope you won't be too late.

How long have you been running out here? It felt like forever, the sand was never ending and the heat was getting to you. Of course that didn’t mean there were those pesky imps watching them freeze over before finally cracking up and gushing out grist for future use.
And ChrisTimeSprite just followed along, doing his own slowdown of the enemies, helping out when he can. Other than that there was no sign of your cousin being nearby, which started to both you just little. Could he even make it into the game? You thought it was a part of the system that everyone who was with you made it in.

[style=width: 450px; padding: 10 25; background: teal; border: 1px dashed black; font-size: 13px; font-family: courier new; font-weight: bold; color:#800517; text-align: left;]SP: … RUBY: 7h3r3 w4s 4 br33z3 RUBY: >:? RUBY: u999 d03sn7 m4773r RUBY: l3ts f0ll0w 7h47 7r41l ==> RUBY: Follow that trail!
What do you think was happening wise guy? You started to jog, which is kind of hard in this soft sand. It was hard in these boots to run in them, but you need to see if your cousin was safe or not.
[/blockquote] ==>
It’s been awhile since you’ve left the house, you decide to turn your head to see it out in the horizon. If Juni was further out here, where could he be? In something like this it would be hard to find him. You fell to your knees; you then feel a pair of hands on your shoulders.
You looked up see ChrisTimeSprite next to you, his head tilted and eyes showed concern. Was it possible for a program to show this concern? It couldn’t be, he was only code. Using your cleaver you slowly get back up on your feet.
Would you have to find him later? What time was it? Ugh, don’t bother looking at ChrisTimeSprite, time probably didn’t exist here since this wasn’t earth anymore.

==> JUNI: Deep Breaths
You've been running/speed walking for quite some time now and the heat is really getting to you. You'll have to hope that you don't pass out. You scan the area for any it of shade that could be near by, nothing. Your feet have begun to burn, you've been standing still to long and the heat is getting more unbearable. Yet you'll just have to let it all go because Ruby's safety is the only thing that matters to you any more. If you lost her, who knows what you'd even do. You heave out one more breath then start off again in a full out sprint towards the house.
You've made some progress, though not much. You suppose that you've been at it for about an hour total now and you'll just need to suck it up.
==> JUNI: Notice figures coming into view on the horizon.
You notice a few dark figures coming into view on the horizon, only two shadows. Though one appears to be rather oddly mutated with clock like mechanisms just like the imps and radiating a darkish mahogany glow. Next to it is a small figure larger than the imps and unmistakably more human. Ruby. You let out a sigh of relief and dash towards them as fast as possible. You are overwhelmed with joy and can barley contain it.
==> JUNI: Call out to Ruby
JUNI: ruby JUNI: ruby it's me juni
==> JUNI: Pass out
Your less than twenty feet away from Ruby when the heat gets to you. And your out like a light.

] ==> RHEA: Check up on your friend.
You wonder how Ruby's been in the medium? Maybe her land is a lot more user-friendly than yours is. With your laptop open, you decide you might as well pester her a bit to see how everything is going and what she's been up to. You yourself have been hanging around your house, not leaving the front porch for quite awhile. Your brother disappeared awhile ago, but you're not that worried about him. While he may be your younger brother, he can take care of himself just fine. And besides, he's only younger than you by a few minutes. Your laptop beeps to life, and you open up pesterchum as quickly as possible, eager to hear a report from Ruby.
TA: oh ruuuuuuuuuuuuuubyyyy TA: where art thou little red riding hood??????? TA: heyyy how you been? :D TA: hows it going in the medium? made any progress with that mission o yours? TA: ive just been sitting here playing with my consorts XD theyre a little creepy but fun once you get to know em!!! ==> Head on down to meet up with the imps Well it's no surprised that the imps failed to bring in the guardian. And you know this will be on your head should you fail to bring him here soon. God you hate that woman. Bossing you around like it's cool and what not. You hate being told what to do, but choice do you have? Not much. Oh well. You make your way to the planet, why was it so hot and so bright? Already loathing the planet you reach the imps. They told you he awoke too soon before they could transport him. You sigh in frustration, why can't they do anything right? You take your weapon from your inventory and head off in the direct they pointed you in. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. ==> Track down the Guardian It wasn't easy either. It was way too hot to concentrate on the half pressed footprints in the sands. If you could sweat, you would. You maybe close by. There was a large figure in the distance. They seemed to have passed out, maybe from this heat. You enclose in on the figure, hmm, he seems to fit the description. Pink, golden brownish hair, kinda award looking. You suppose this is the guardian you seek. You don't waste any time trying to pull him up. Wow he's a lot heavier than a normal weighted carapacian, uh well excluding HB. That guy is a monster in his own right. You might need a little help. ==> Call for back up You called in the imps. They will carrying him to the transporter while you guard them and make sure this guy stays put. This seemed a lot easier for you. Now you have to wait a moment so that these guys can cover the ground and make their way here. Imps, they're way too short for your liking but hey, these brats playing this stupid game are prototyping Derse knows what. Woah what is that? ==> Look on ahead Oh great this must be the brat to this guardian. Hmph you don't have time for this. Oh well you must do what you can to ensure your mission is successful and if it means to kill one of these kids, well so be it. You pull out a knife, you dropped the guardian where he laid. You didn't need unnecessary weight. JACK: Come on kid, make my day…

You feel your cheeks flush and your breath become hallow. You’re blue eyes widen up as he lifted your guardian. Of course, more of these pesky imps come swarming in, where the heck are these things even hiding?
This black man then brought out his strife specibus and dropped your cousin. You grit your teeth and narrow your eyes dangerously. You raise your weapon, the soft music of Coldplay could be heard.
==> RUBY: Strife, Aggervate!
It would be your pleasure! You swift run up to Jack raising the cleaver even higher just bring the weapon down when you came within an arm shot of your target. You weren’t thinking now, just in rage.
Of course just off in the distance Chris floated looking out at the battle seemingly mumbling some lyrics to himself.

Nah, you’re not one for conflict and your body sure as heck isn’t all ready to jump up. You think lying on this nice heated sand might do you some good. And then you are scooped up, you're too out of it to even catch a glimpse of them but you can tell someone is throwing you over their shoulder. You fell your head slump down dangling by the man's legs with you head swinging around as he tries to settle you upon himself, and then you hear her, Ruby that is. She is breathing deeply out of anger towards the man you recognize her as you try and pry your eyes open to make out her figure, you also begin to notice more of those imps crowding around the man. And you als- ==> JUNI: Hit the ground. You fall smack dab on your back onto the sand beneath the man, it wasn’t that hard of a fall but it was enough to bring you into full awareness. You leap up and this time get a full view of your surroundings on your left are Ruby and the oddly colored man, solid black. You figure you will ask questions later and figure the safety of Ruby is of more importance to you. You quickly do a leap roll over the mans head and land next to Ruby, with great form and elegance if you may add. You dabbled in Gymnastics and Cheerleading during your High School and College Years, such actions have caused you to be quite nimble and agile.

Well, with no one to really contact, your brother off wandering your black-coated planet, and your consorts being not at all helpful, you're kind of already doing that. In fact, your entire land has been more than a little boring. You've been shackled to your home, unable to venture out into the land due to some train wreckage blocking the area. You need to find a way around those or to move them somehow. In fact, you need to get started on creating some gear that could do that job for you.

> Jack: Engage in combat This wouldn't be a problem to you. But you have to take down the Guardian before he strikes. It won't be easy with him striking at you. You ordered the all but one imp to hold the guardian back until he finished with killing the child. Mean while you call in a rook. He should be able to come in and take the Guardian back to the Derse prison cells. Now that you're covered with the Guardian. Now it's time to take that pesky brat out. It should be easy, the fool is slashing blindly without as so much as a strategy. She took action without realizing what she was getting herself into. Oh well, she will learn. ==> Block her cleaver with your knife Well that was easy. Now you've stopped her motion. Before she can even register what has happened, you clutch your fist and give her a nice punch to the jaw. So what if it's not cool to hit a girl, she's in your way. And that gentle man crap is for Prospitans. You then shove her away. You flip the blade in your hand easily, you await her response. You want to end this as soon as possible, a nice stab to the gut should finish this quick.

==> RUBY: Get the snot beaten out of you???
You’re eyes widen shock to see your attack was blocked. Jack swiftly blocked your attack and next thing you know your face is sliding across sand. You taste the grittiness of the sand and copper blood in your mouth. You lay there dazed for a moment letting the fact that the rug, er, sand burn hurt your face. THE MAN JUST PUNCHED YOU! You lift yourself up and shake your head and spat out whatever sand and blood you could before wiping your mouth.
Once more you look back at the man and let out a growl. You pick up your weapon once more and run towards the man. You’ve never grown up with the experience of hitting a target just swinging the cleaver around, or whatever it was that you would do in your room. And that experience really wasn’t helping you out.

==> JUNI: Watch in amazement
As you said before in your amazement Ruby dashes off into battle, you had always known her to be a feisty one. Though you’d have never expect her to lunge into battle to protect you, and what were you doing to help her? Standing on the side lines as you watched her throw her cleaver around like some play thing, as much as you advised against violence you knew that everything had it’s time and place and quite certainly violence belonged in many situations such as self defense. Though this was different in a way, was this man evil? You weren’t for sure, but the fact that he was beating up a young girl didn’t add to his case of being good. Though Ruby did lunge first you thought it might be best to see it play out, and then he sent minions against you. ==> JUNI: Strife Not much you can do, except lunge into battle. Though just as you lunge a small imp knocks you off balance for a second making you seem to have not lunged at all. It appears a rather large group of them have swarmed around you. You take them down with relative ease slashing your staffkind about willy nilly. No big deal, they fade away leaving the grist like gems you saw earlier. You are quite sure they serve a purpose, though most likely not intended for you so you leave them alone in hopes Ruby can collect them later on. Then comes in the big baddy.
The man must have known the imps wouldn’t have lasted long, he probably knows that you can put up a worse fight than Ruby. Though if he was trying to kidnap you, why would he make them stall you? It all didn’t seem to make sense, perhaps he was merely thinking Ruby to be an easier fight and simply expendable? Whatever the case is you don’t have much time to think as the big mutated imp seems to be coming your way. The large hulking beast swings his massive meaty arms towards you in hopes of slaying you. By the looks of it Ruby won’t make it that long either, you need to think fast. What's the most logical option? Then it hits you, you’d hate to do it, but you know it’s for the best interest of Ruby. You dodge a meaty swing from the beast and snatch up Ruby’s phone from the ground.
==> JUNI: Pester Rhea
SP: uhh, hey SP: is this one of ruby’s friends? SP: this is her cousin SP: juni SP: i’m assuming this is the one who was moving stuff around our house SP: hopefully you have control out here SP: i need you to hold back ruby SP: don’t let her follow me no matter what
==> JUNI: Sacrifice Self
You quick do a young adult roll out of the way from another blow just barely being missed, and leap in between Ruby and the man, what your initial thoughts were to stop their fighting and then go away peacefully as Ruby thrashed in the background well her friend kept her back, but then it happened. Ruby’s reckless swing of her cleaver hit you straight in the head, and then once again in your pelvis.
She must have been hoping to get him down with a headshot then below the belt, and trust me it worked as good on you. Ever since an incident a while back between you and Alex your pelvis was nearly shattered and you’ve been extremely fragile ever since. When your head was first hit you put your hand to your heading feeling the cool sticky red wetness of blood, nothing fatal, but when you were hit in the pelvis all was lost. Your eyes rolled into the back of your head and you crumpled to the ground like a loose ragdoll onto the hot desert sand wet with the blood running from your head.

It becomes apparent that Ruby is obviously doing something important if it's taking her this long to get back. You wonder if you should just give up on your patience levels and find someone else to pester, something else to do. As you're about to put away your computer, it suddenly beeps, and a new chat window has popped up. Only, you don't recognize the chum handle, and cautiously approach your computer as you prepare a reply.

Turning back to SBURB's window, you might able to interact with her environment somehow in order to 'hold her back' like he wants you to. But as you move a bit of her land to separate him from Ruby, she takes two swings at him and he falls to the ground with a crack. Well, that looked like it hurt. [/blockquote]

>Jack: Watch the strange series of events unfold. This was rather peculiar, the guardian seems to interrupt your battle but it seems as if he's protecting you? No...maybe he's just giving up to ensure the safety of the child. Hmm, you suppose this would work. The only reason you attacked her was because she was in your way. Now that the guardian is out of commission, he would be carried out much easier. Excellent, that horrible Queen of your will be very pleased. ==> Watch the Guardian fall. You watch as the child attacks her Guardian and doesn't even realize it. You figure it has something to do with her title. What a fool, she should realize that she will never become a good player if she attacks blindly and in rage. She will learn, maybe from this experience. You quickly pick up the fallen Guardian and allow the Rook dersite carry you back to Derse. Now that you have this one...everything is going according to plan. And as long as you keep that fool of a Queen busy, she will be too late to stop your plans. JACK: Well kid, I got ta go. JACK: Take a good look at yer Guardian, because this is the last time you'll be seein' him. JACK: You ought to learn by now that this is a game of high stakes. If ya don't stop playin' in yer kid gloves...well now you ain't got a Guardian anymore. JACK: Later kid.
