JOARST UANOUV TROLL • MALE • 7.5 SWEEPS • RED TEAM • DEMISEXUAL • boorishBibliothecary - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - we've got something, here the future is clear we exist without fear i think we're best described as a pyrocumulus i know there's a fire deep inside of us ★ APPEARANCE: Going from head to toe, Joarst is a pretty average looking troll. With black hair that's always a little messed up no matter how much he brushes it, he keeps it short to reveal his horns. Said horns are shaped like his lusus' fangs; thick and wide at the base, and curved back to thin and pointed at the top, forming fat-to-skinny curved spikes on his head. His skin is a typical light gray, like any troll, but his eyes tell him apart. After all, Joar's getting older, he has to admit, so the cerulean hue of his blood is starting to fill in the outer ring of his iris. It makes his adulthood sort of surreal, but it's not like he's ever hidden his blood color before, so it doesn't bother him. His body type is lean, yet very toned. Considering being a blue blood does come with a bit of a physical strength to it. He's strong enough to hold his own, and it shows through a decent layer of muscle. Though a bit below average height-wise, chalking up to around five feet six inches, and weighing in at around one hundred fifty pounds. ★ COMMON WEAR: Joarst likes to look nice. He likes to look prim, proper, neat, and tidy. Sloppiness is just not acceptable, and his outfit usually reflects this opinion. Casually, he wears a thick, dark gray, long sleeve turtleneck that shows his symbol under a black suit jacket. But he could sometimes go with a sweater vest or a collared shirt, weather permitting. With well-fitting dress pants and black leather dress shoes. On occasion he could even wear a suit. Some may say this isn't really "casual" wear, but it's what he feel comfortable in. In anything less he feels downright exposed. ★ OTHER FEATURES: Over time, from just having his nose stuck in so many books, his excessive reading has begun to take a toll on his sight. Now, he requires reading glasses. It's a bit embarrassing for him, but most people don't see him with them on anyway. ★ POSITIVE: ★ NEGATIVE: ★ LIKES: ★ DISLIKES: ★ HABIT: - BRINGING A BOOK TOO CLOSE - He often literally has his nose between the pages.
- SCOFFING - Whether it be in disgust, disdain, or in hiding his embarrassment, it surely happens a lot.
★ FEAR: - FORGETFULNESS - The idea of him forgetting something, no matter how small, terrifies him. The pursuit of knowledge is what he's all about, and forgetting would just be a step backward in all he's done.
- LOSING PRIPAS - But that is just illogical.
★ STRIFE SPECIBUS: Living in a forest, things can get a bit out of control in the wildlife. To keep things neat and tidy, he purchased a hedge trimmer to clean up things a bit. Now he just uses it as a weapon for convenience. His lusus doesn't exactly approve, since it is pretty brutal, but it's not like he often finds a need to use it in battle. ★ FETCH MODUS: Library Modus! As he captchalogues items, the cerulean sylladex card is placed into a book containing cards of related items. As there would be a Weapons Book, Food Book, etc, which pages are just sylladex cards of items of their category. All of the books are then alphabetized, then placed on a shelf that appears when he wants to take out an item. It always takes a little while, to find the right book, to flip to the right page where the item he specifically wants is located. ★ GUARDIAN / ANCESTOR: The Haruspex. Almost a religious being, he used his ability to see into the future to aid anyone in need. He often used meditation and strange rituals to bring about his visions, therefore it almost became somewhat of a ceremonial practice for him to look into the future. He wore white makeup and had several henna tattoos of his symbol and others, markings of a prophet. During the rebellion, indigobloods collected him to aid them, forcing him to foretell the outcome of battles and any lowblood rebellions. The Haruspex didn't enjoy conflict, he was in very middle ground, a quality shared between him and Joarst. Realizing that his gift was being used for culling, he was eventually killed off himself for providing false information to the highblood army. Joarst acquired the psychic ability to see into the future as well, but unlike his ancestor he has no control over it, and he can only see glimpses. ★ HISTORY: When first picked by his caterpillar lusus, the creature brought him as a grub to the woods; it's natural habitat. Living near the ocean or up in the mountains would be too tough on the bug guardian, and Joarst has no problem complying to settle down in the woods. Actually, he just didn't give a fuck, even at that age. The entrance to his humble abode is located on the forest floor, and his hive is made from a hallowed out tree. Walls protrude from the bark, even windows poke out in some places, as the rooms and other structures of his home branch off from the wood to create a fairly large living space.
On ground level, the only thing that could make someone aware that the natural structure was a house is the browish-gold door on one side, with a smaller door next to it that his lusus skitters out of time to time. But as you look up you can see how large it really is. On the inside, his home is always clean, thanks to his nanny of a lusus and his own ocd nature. Different levels of the tree make up the different floors of the house, all connected by a swirling staircase. The top floor reaches the canopy of the forest, where Joarst built a deck for him to get some fresh air once in a while. Books are often strewn about the hive, much to his lusus' annoyance.
When Joarst was little, he tried to make friends. He tried to go out and live a fairly normal life like any other troll. Unfortunately, he wasn't really good at the whole "highblood" thing. You know, the whole acting superior to others who you don't even know. His blood color gave him the right to do that? He didn't really get it, so he didn't follow the rules and started hanging out with whoever he wanted. However, when he hung out with lowbloods, the highbloods got mad at him, and when he hung out with highbloods, the lowbloods were afraid of him! There was too much conflict really, and that's when he started...well, just staying home. His hive felt like a barrier to the whole outside world, that if he was in his hive with his caring lusus, nothing could hurt him. When he stayed home, there was no conflict or drama or problems.
At first Caterpillardad tried to get his boy back out into the world, but he knew that the young troll was happier playing inside, so he let him be. Instead, the creature brought home books; ways for Joarst to go on adventures without having to leave his safety zone. From tales of history, to romance novels, to fantasy, to mysteries, he began to read anything he could get his hands on. Before he knew it, Joarst has an obsession with the consumption of knowledge. He felt like he couldn't get enough, he wanted to know pretty much everything, and he spent his life trying.
Eventually he knew he had to be social and came to meet people not by going out, but my being on trollian. One of the many trolls he encountered ended up playing a very important role in his life. Pripas was a pretty weird guy, he had to admit, but he was nice enough. They chatted for a bit, until he came to understand that this guy wrote fanfiction. Not having anything new to read at the moment, Joarst offered to read over and edit his work, even with a little critiquing. Their relationship was purely formal at first; just the writer and the reader. But maybe it was how they slipped off topic and talked about nothing, maybe it was how comfortable he was, maybe it was the beautiful words that this troll had the gift to type, or just how nice and honest this troll was himself, but Joar ended up with a bit of a crush. He suppressed it at first, but eventually the fanfiction that used to be about total strangers started to be about him and Pripas, he couldn't help himself. The two matesprits currently live near one another, and often just staying over each others hive for days on end. THIS CHARACTER HAS BEEN CREATED BY EMILY. TEMPLATE CREATED BY chariza of ote

MAGE OF MIND PROSPIT DREAMER JOARST UANOUVI believe I can see your planet now. Yes. You are in the
LAND OF INK AND DOCTRINE.Loiad is a CANVAS. Despite having the normal amount of vegetation for any sort of grassland, all of it is PURE WHITE. Ponds and lakes of INK sporting all hues sans white are scattered throughout your land, ensuring that each pond has a UNIQUE COLOR. The calm, yet occasionally rolling terrain is broken by UNDERGROUND CAVES, each stained with color. Each of those caves eventually meets up and leads to one room, in which resides ANANKE. Defeat her if you must. Your consorts, white BASILISKS, each have their own set of principles and morals. Some may be conflicting with your own, others may be exactly fitting. But each will tell you a secret if it likes you. Each will give you part of a MESSAGE. Ananke has the message in full. Don't toil. Ananke is slowly turning the ink ponds BLACK. You must restore color to this world, you must restore color to the consorts, and you must unify them as one in their individuality. Get the message?
But that will all come in time, Mage. For now, you're going back. You'll know nothing of your quest, of your land, of your very title. You'll be an average seven-and-a-half sweep old boy. But not for much longer.
