SS: Perhaps when you are feeling pity, you are feeling love? And vice versa, for humans?

SS: The official definitions of love are "an intense feeling of deep affection", and "to feel a deep romantic or sexual attraction to someone".
SS: Of course, that is a very clinical examination of it.
SS: In more emotional terms... It is when you care for someone to such a degree that life without them, whether your bond is platonic or romantic, is unimaginable, and if you truly needed to and there was no other option, you would sacrifice yourself in order to ensure that they remained alive.
SS: Am I remaining competent, thus far? |
