SS: That hardly surprises me, however. All humans my age seemed to be absorbed in such petty details such as their appearance, and as you said, who they are 'flushed for'.
SS: Ridiculous.
SS: At our age, the likelihood that such relationships will last is very low.
SS: Why should I lower my standards in order to find a 'matesprit', when the relationship will not even last, in all likelihood?
